Second Cup, the popular coffee chain was founded in 1975, by Tom Culligan and Frank O'Dea in Toronto Canada. Later, Chairman & CEO, Khalil Al Gawad took Second Cup public in 1993, after which the franchise expanded to different regions of the world. It was launched in Pakistan in March 2013, with its very first outlet in Islamabad, the city of 'burgers'.
Currently, Second Cup has franchises in 26 countries; 250 outlets in the country of origin alone. In Pakistan, you can find as many as 22 outlets of the popular coffee shop, spread across different cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Murre, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Karachi. Second Cup was recently launched in Karachi, on 24th November 2019, located at Khayaban e Shahbaz.
