Pakistan celebrated its 84th Resolution Day on 23rd March, 2024. At the civil awards ceremony marking Pakistan Day, popular stars from the entertainment industry were honored with prestigious civil awards in both federal and provincial capitals.

Veteran actor, host and producer, Adnan Siddiqui was bestowed with the President’s Award for Pride of Performance. The actor has been working in the industry for the past few decades, having multiple blockbuster dramas and films under his belt.

Along with seasoned actor Siddiqui, other prominent Pakistani celebrities were honored with various awards during the ceremony on the 23rd of March 2024. Renowned actress, Sajal Aly received the ‘Tamgha-i-Imtiaz’ for her tremendous work in various dramas and films in Pakistan and on a global stage.

The Qawwali maestro, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was bestowed with the coveted Hilal – I – Imtiaz while TLOMJ’s Bilal Lashari – ace director of one of the biggest blockbuster films in the past two decades of Pakistani films was awarded with Sitara – I – Imtiaz.

Juggan Kazmi, actress and host also received the Tamgha – I- Imtiaz. Other celebrities who received the honours include classical dancer Sheema Kirmani, TV host Vasay Chaudhary, Faakhir Mehmood, Shazia Mansoor, Fizza Ali Meerza and the late Inayat Hussain Bhatti.
