Pakistani actress Sonya Hussayn shocked viewers after she revealed her new look for her upcoming drama. Hussayn took to Instagram to share her transformation with her fans and left everyone bewildered.

She teased the fans with a question before revealing her transformation, and the audiences guessed incorrectly that she would unveil the first look from another upcoming project of hers with Feroze Khan, ‘Akhara’. Known for taking on challenging roles in Pakistani television dramas, the Tere Bina Main Nahi diva then unveiled her new look as ‘Murshid’ in the much awaited upcoming drama series, Gangs of Kharasaan. The pictures created quite the buzz over social media and left fans, followers and her fellow actors from the showbiz fraternity stunned!

As she embarks on a new venture in Gangs of Kharasaan, anticipation builds to witness the star's captivating performance as Murshid. The details of the drama are still under wraps but Sonya Hussayn shares a little insight to her role in her post where she mentions,

“Addicts are humans too! Meet “ MURSHID “ Unveiling the first look of my new project, Gang of Kharasaan! After playing horain in Saraab, Murshid is another character that holds a special place in my heart.”

Seen with a short boy cut, sporting some grey hair, and dressed in a full black shirt and pants the actress hints to playing a drug addict in her upcoming show. Her look has changed drastically from an absolute diva to a make-up free, deglamourized look with scars on her face.

Recently Hussayn had attempted the role of a boxer in the movie Daadal released on Eid ul Fitr. The movie saw Sonya Hussayn essay the role of boxer, ‘Haya Baloch’.

Often seen taking up the most challenging scripts, the actress was also seen in super-hit drama series, Saraab where she played the role of Hoorain who was a Schizophrenic.
