The biggest blockbuster of the year, London Nahi Jaunga has finally been released in the country over Eid. Having received a warm welcome across the globe, the Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed film has smashed box office records in Pakistan with being the first film of 2022 to collect a whopping Rs.2.1 crore on its Eid day 1 release.

The revival of Pakistani cinema has seen local films thriving and earning a handsome amount at the box office. This Eid ul Adha viewers lined up to watch the films in cinemas despite the heavy rains in various parts of the country especially in Karachi. Both the Pakistani Eid releases have received a smashing response.

London Nahi Jaunga has done phenomenally well in international markets and has accumulated more than Rs. 9 crore globally and in Pakistan over the Eid weekend. The second in line is Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa's movie, 'Quaid E Azam Zinabad' which has managed to collect Rs 1.4 crores all over Pakistan.

This goes to show the Pakistani audiences love watching good quality content films even if an acclaimed Hollywood movie like 'Thor' is playing in the theatres at the same time. As the hero Humayun Saeed has recently commented, "If the movie has all the right ingredients, it is definitely going to attract viewers!"

London Nahi Jaunga also features Kubra Khan who plays Humayun Saeed's other love interest in the movie.
