Director of Mann Mayal and Parwaz-e-Junoon, Haseeb Hasan has us intrigued by yet another upcoming project, which looks promising. Starring Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Manzar Sehbai and Samina Ahmed, the web-series is bound to be a hit!

With online shows and web serials bein all the rage, our very own channel, ZEE 5 has given directors and filmmakers the chance to create their own web-series and enter an entirely new world of cinematic experience, which we can call our own!

Speaking to Instep the Alif director revealed, “The plot revolves around two families that are united by their father’s death – one is an Indian soldier and the other, a Pakistani. How the martyrdom affects the families and how they realize that peace is much better than war is what the web series will teach us.”

Manzar Sehbai, who has starred in different plays with Haseeb Hasan before, shared a snippet with his wife, actor Samina Ahmed, as well as hinting at their roles in Dhoop Ki Deewar, a 24-26 episode saga that already has us on the edge of our seats with its cross-border story. The star-studded cast in the project include actors such as, Samiya Mumtaz, Savera Nadeem Adnan Jaffer, Zara Tareen, Paras Masroor, Hammad Siddiqui, Ainy Zaidi, Salma Hasan, Lubna Aslam and Raza Talish, according to Haseeb Hasan's exclusive with Instep.

The web-series may be available on international platforms as well, perhaps even Netflix, as we wait for more updates regarding this exciting project!
