Mehar Posh becomes highest rated episode

This is the first time in the history of Pakistani dramas that an episode received this many TRPs

Drama serial Mehar Posh, featuring the real-life couple, Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor, has broken all the previous records. The first episode was aired on Geo Entertainment on Friday, April 3rd, that soon became the highest rated in Pakistan’s drama history.

Ayeza and Danish shared the big news with fans on their social media accounts. Mehar Posh received a record-breaking 13.4 TRP on Friday. Not only this, but the first episode also managed to hit 2.8 Million views on YouTube in just 2 days.

Ayeza Khan plays the role of Mehru while Danish Taimoor is portraying the role of Shahjahan in the drama. Ayeza will be seen as someone going through a difficult time after being divorced by Ali Abbas on the first night of her wedding.

Danish took to his Instagram and wrote:

Broke All The Previous Records. Highest Rated 1st Episode Of Any Drama Serial Of Pakistan... THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

Ayeza also responded with much gratitude and announced the first milestone of their drama on Instagram:
